We are very proud of the long-term relationships we have with many of our investment property owner clients. We nurture these relationships by gaining their trust and looking out for their best interests. When you contract with Cournale & Co., you are offered a wide-range of property management services.


Our clients want relief from the day-to-day management responsibilities an investment property calls for. We would like to assist you like we assist them. We currently manage over 100 different properties in San Francisco – from an Art Deco 12 unit apartment building in the Marina District to a mixed-use Edwardian era property in the Valencia St. corridor to Pacific Ocean view apartments in the Outer Richmond.

Our decades of experience in administrative, financial, legal and maintenance services are put to use each day – whether it is for a pair of flats, an apartment building or a commercial property.

Our primary concern is minimizing liability for our property owner-clients. We carefully adhere to local regulations on your behalf. San Francisco’s Rent Stabilization Board may be the most “tenant-friendly” in the country. Two-thirds of The City’s voters are tenants and many homeowners are also sympathetic and supportive of tenants’ rights and initiatives.

We have established relationships with attorneys who represent landlords exclusively and who have a solid track record of protecting landlord interests. We value and treat tenants with the respect they deserve, taking care of reasonable demands but also holding them accountable if problems with their tenancy arise.

Our Property Management Department has a skilled team led by a “hands on” manager who works closely with owner-clients, ensuring clear communication, and an exceptional level of service.

Our services are extensive. We prefer to handle all management-related business for you, so your year-end record-keeping is complete. Services include – but are not limited to – the following:
